How Ovivion handles creator content, permissions, credits, and account data.

Effective date: April 28, 2026

Ovivion is a creator notebook for photo entries, short clips, creator profiles, community feed activity, and credit-based Spotlight promotion. This policy explains how Ovivion handles media permissions, payment records, creator content, account details, and recommendation signals when you use those features.

Voice and Audio Processing

When you record a clip inside Ovivion, the app may access your microphone so the recorded video can include sound. Audio captured for a clip is processed as part of the media file you choose to post. The legal basis for this processing is your consent when you grant microphone access and your request to create that media.

If you cancel recording or do not publish the clip, unpublished media remains on your device until you remove it, clear the app cache, or delete the app. If a clip is published, the audio remains attached to the clip until you delete the entry or request account removal.

Payments and Credits

Ovivion offers in-app purchases for credits and Spotlight-related promotion flows. We process purchase state, package identifiers, and transaction results so the correct credit balance can be applied to your account or device state. The legal basis for this processing is contract fulfillment because the payment flow is required to deliver the credits you choose to buy.

Payment card details are handled by the platform billing provider rather than by Ovivion directly. Ovivion keeps purchase history, recharge records, and related accounting evidence for up to 7 years when needed for financial reporting, fraud review, chargeback handling, and legal compliance.

Information We Collect

  • Account and profile details such as username, avatar, biography text, follow state, and profile edits.
  • Creator content such as photo entries, clip entries, captions, notes, comments, likes, report records, and mute or restore actions.
  • Device-side state such as cached notebook data, local profile drafts, creator history, and credit balance needed to keep Ovivion usable between sessions.
  • Usage and recommendation signals such as search terms, feed interactions, and entry engagement patterns that help the app rank or refresh notebook content.

Camera and Photo Access

Ovivion requests camera access when you take a new frame for a creator entry or profile update. Ovivion requests photo library access when you choose existing photos or clips for notebook entries. The legal basis for this processing is your consent because the app only uses those permissions after you approve them and start a media action.

Selected or captured media is stored locally while you prepare an entry. Once posted, the media becomes part of the creator content connected to that entry until you remove it. If you deny these permissions, Ovivion will still open, but capture and media-selection actions may not work.

User Content and Community

Ovivion uses your creator entries, comments, likes, follow state, report submissions, and mute or unblock actions to operate the community feed and related moderation tools. The legal basis for this processing is contract fulfillment for the service you request, plus legitimate interest in keeping community activity reviewable and safer for other users.

We may review report records, blocked-user records, and related metadata to investigate abuse, impersonation, spam, copyright complaints, or other policy violations. We may remove entries, limit visibility, or restrict accounts when community rules or legal obligations require it.

How We Use Your Information

We use account data to create and maintain your profile and sign-in state. We use creator content and community actions to publish entries, show feed details, enable comments and likes, and keep your personal post history available. We use purchase and credit records to complete Spotlight-related transactions. We use recommendation and search signals under our legitimate interest to keep notebook content relevant and responsive. We use device storage so local drafts, cached feed data, and account state remain available between sessions.

Analytics and Advertising

Ovivion may use permission-based tracking signals and in-app behavior signals to understand which notebook entries or creator updates are more relevant to a user. The legal basis for this processing is consent where tracking permission is required, and legitimate interest for basic service health, fraud review, and product diagnostics where allowed by law.

Tracking-related data is used to improve discovery, app stability, and feed relevance. It is not used to promise guaranteed reach, guaranteed sales, or guaranteed creator outcomes.

Data Retention

  • Unpublished audio and unpublished media drafts are kept until the draft is removed, the cache is cleared, or the app is deleted.
  • Published creator entries, comments, and profile content are kept until you delete the content or request account deletion, then removed or de-identified within 30 days unless a legal hold applies.
  • Account and profile records are kept while the account is active and for up to 30 days after verified deletion requests so recovery, dispute handling, and cleanup can finish.
  • Purchase, recharge, and credit records are kept for up to 7 years for accounting, fraud review, and legal compliance.
  • Crash logs, error traces, and service diagnostics are kept for up to 90 days unless a security investigation requires a longer period.
  • Blocked-user and moderation records are kept for up to 24 months when needed to investigate repeat abuse or enforce community restrictions.

Third-Party Services

Ovivion may rely on categories of third-party services such as authentication and session providers, in-app purchase and billing providers, analytics and diagnostics providers, media processing libraries, and cloud or hosting infrastructure. We share only the information reasonably necessary for those categories to perform the requested function.

Your Rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of the personal data associated with your Ovivion account, subject to applicable law. To make a request, email support@ovivion.com with the subject line Privacy Request - Ovivion. We aim to confirm receipt promptly and complete or explain the request within 30 days.

You can also use in-app controls to edit your profile, remove content, clear notebook state, or start account deletion where that action is available.

Children's Privacy

Ovivion is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that personal data from a child under 13 has been provided without appropriate authorization, we will take steps to delete it and may restrict related account access.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when Ovivion features, legal requirements, or operational practices change. If a revision materially affects your rights or the way we handle personal data, we will provide notice through the app or another appropriate channel before the revised policy takes effect.
